Hill Center BrentwoodRecipient of 2018 ULI Nashville Large Project and People's Choice awards. The project consisted of the following: Building A - three-level office, approximately 110,000 square feet. Building B - four-level office, approximately 150,000 square feet. A six-level, 900-car parking garage with exterior precast. This building and garage are constructed with one-way, post-tension concrete slabs with post-tension concrete moment frames.

Hill Center Acklen FlatsThis project consists of a 116-car, 46,000-square-foot concrete two-way flat plate post-tension garage, 42 apartment units totaling 34,000 square feet supported on either wood or post-tension concrete, and a structured open-air courtyard that is located between the apartment units. The project is wrapped with 12,400 square feet of retail space on the street level.

Montgomery Bell Academy Campus2021 AIA Tennessee Design Award for MBA H. Frank Burkholder Wellness Center. Field House (Architect: Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC) A new, three-story, steel-framed athletic field house of approximately 200,000 square feet. The field house includes: an arena, indoor practice field, wrestling rooms, practice gym, fitness, and miscellaneous support space. Lowry Hall (Architect: Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC) A new, 41,000-square-foot classroom building that includes office space, research rooms, 14 classrooms, and a lecture hall. A main-level student center was also constructed, which opens to the new outdoor plaza. Wallace Hall (Architect: Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC) A new, two-story 43,000-square foot dining hall with eight new classrooms. The Great Hall serves as a meeting space and multi-function space for the school. Parking Garage (Architect: Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC) A new, 200,000-square-foot parking garage. The garage includes space for an interior firing range. The top of the garage was used for a soccer field. Science Building (Architect: Tuck-Hinton Architecture & Design) A 30,000-square-foot, three-story, free-standing building on the MBA campus. The building includes 12 state-of-the-art science classrooms and labs as well as a 1,100-seat lecture hall. Massey Addition: A 12,000-square-foot addition to the existing Massey Junior High building. The addition is a two-story structure that includes a large multi-purpose meeting room.

Children’s Way Parking Garage at VanderbiltAn 18-story parking structure constructed of eight stories in the ground, four stories above ground, and six future floors. Each floor plate is 45,000 square feet for a total of 810,000 square feet. The structure is post-tension concrete with one-way slabs and beams and concrete frame for lateral loads.

Tennessee State Library & Archives2022 AGC Middle TN Build Award of Excellence, 2021 ENR Southeast Merit Award, and 2021 ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Award. The three-story, approximately 165,000-s.f. building, with one-level of below-grade parking, is projected to be completed fall of 2019. The facility will include a climate-controlled chamber for safely storing historic books and manuscripts as well as a state-of-the-art robotic retrieval system. There will be dedicated exhibit spaces for Tennessee’s founding documents and rotating exhibits, as well as a grand reading room with seating for 100 readers and scholars. There will be a vault for storing photographic negatives, an early literacy center designed specifically for children with a visual disability, and a recording lab to produce oral histories and audio books on Tennessee history.

Mars Petcare / OvationENR Southeast 2020 Best Project for Office/Retail/Mixed-Use Development. The project consists of the design of two office buildings totaling approximately 231,000 square feet. The proposed buildings will be steel framed. Building C is planned to be five stories and Building D is planned to be four stories. A connector will be located at each floor of the office building. A 1,320-car, cast-in-place, post-tension parking garage or precast garage is part of the project.

Virgin Hotels / Nashville, TNReceived Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold from the U.S. Green Building Council. Winner of 2020 TN Concrete Association (TCA) Best Architect / Engineer - Commercial Buildings Award. Music Row's Virgin Hotel is a new multi-use structure of approximately 170,000 square feet. The tower is constructed over a 3-1/2 level underground parking structure of approximately 105,000 square feet. The 14-story, 260-key luxury hotel will have The Commons Club, a rooftop lounge with an infinity pool, a gym, and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Asurion HeadquartersTwo new, Class-A office towers (eight and nine stories) of approximately 1,300,000 total square feet, which includes approximately 500,000 square feet for retail/office space and approximately 700,000 square feet for 1,920 parking spaces. Parking is six stories below grade. Project includes an elevated outdoor public plaza/tenant courtyard and drop-off of approximately 90,000 square feet and two elevated, steel-framed connector walkways at the fourth and sixth floors.

1030 Music RowFeatured in Engineering News Record (ENR) Southeast March 2022. 1030 Music Row is the first mass timber-framed, Class-A office space in Nashville. This one-of-a-kind creatively engineered design, crafted from Douglas Fir glulam columns and beams, dowel-laminated timber floors, and structural steel with four below-grade, concrete-framed parking levels, consists of approximately 112,000 square feet.
