Abe’s Garden

2020 World Alzheimer Report by Alzheimer’s Disease International.

Original project (Manuel Zeitlin):  Addition to an existing retirement home.  Construction consists of one level of two-way, flat plate and load-bearing metal stud shear walls on a podium slab.

2018 Addition (ESa):  New, three-story building additions of approximately 60,000 square feet to the existing Park Manor/Abe’s Garden structure.  The structure is two-way, post-tensioned slabs with concrete shear walls.  The addition is structurally separated from the existing structure by expansion joints.
