Westin Nashville

A 30-story, 478,000-square-foot hotel tower located adjacent to the Music City Convention Center. The hotel structure is a two-way, post-tension flat plate system. The project includes a rooftop amenity deck with swimming pool overlooking Downtown Nashville. There are two levels of underground parking along with ballrooms and meeting spaces under the tower. Hyatt Place

A four-story, 70,000-square-foot hotel. The structure is constructed with pre-engineered wood trusses and load-bearing stud walls.

Staybridge Suites

A three-story, 84,000-square-foot wood structure. This hotel consists of load-bearing stud walls with I-Joists at the floor levels. The roof is constructed with pre-engineered roof trusses.

Hilton Garden Inn

A four-story hotel of approximately 77,000 square feet. The hotel was designed to abut the historic Mooreland Mansion and was designed to keep the mansion the center focus of the development. Special foundations were used to protect the circa 1838 mansion during construction. The structure is load-bearing CMU supporting conventional reinforced slab. The roof structure is light-gage steel trusses designed to blend in with the gable roofs of the mansion.

Hilton Garden Inn - Downtown Nashville

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. A ten-story, 152,000-square-foot hotel tower, plus a three-story, 59,000-square-foot parking garage. The hotel structure is a two-way, post-tension flat plate system. The garage is a clear span, post-tension girder and one-way slab. The project also includes an elevated pool and terrace deck overlooking Downtown Nashville.

Hampton Inn & Suites - Berry Farms

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. Located in Franklin, Tennessee, this Berry Farms’ hotel is a four-story, 124-room Hampton Inn & Suites.

One Bellevue Place

One Bellevue Place is a sprawling, multi-use community in southwest Nashville. The project features 400,000 square feet of retail stores, restaurants, entertainment, a hotel, up to 360,000 square feet of office space, and 330 luxury apartment homes.

Hilton and Residence Inn - Green Hills

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. 2019 Hilton New Build of the Year for The Americas (US and Canada). The Hilton and Residence Inn is a mixed planned project consisting of 146,900-square-foot Hilton and 90,110-square-foot Residence Inn, 30,937 square feet of office space, 3,105 square feet of retail space, and a 212,156-square-foot, eight-level parking garage with roughly more than 560 spaces.

Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites

A seven-story hotel with approximately 171, 038 square feet, plus a two-story adjacent but freestanding parking garage with approximately 72,600 square feet. Opryland Hotel Soundwaves Water Park

2022 American Architecture Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. 2022 American Architecture Award, Interior Architecture. Time’s World’s Greatest Places 2019: https://time.com/collection/worlds-greatest-places-2019/ A new hotel tower consisting of 300 new family-style keys connected to an elegant water park, Soundwaves. The water park, 215,000 square feet, consists of two components: an indoor facility within a 60,000- to 70,000-square-foot indoor glass atrium and a four-acre outdoor water park space, which includes: water slides, food and bar service, and a live entertainment area.

Hampton Inn & Suites

A six-story hotel with a total of 80,000 square feet, plus a drive-thru porte-cochere. The construction is load-bearing CMU walls with precast hollow-core concrete planks.

HYATT House Nashville - West End

The HYATT House Nashville | West End consists of a new, 15-story concrete structure, 10 levels of 201 keys (hotel rooms), 3 levels of 156 parking spaces located above the ground-floor lobby, and an amenities floor with a fitness center, pool, and an event bar.

Hilton - Cool Springs

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. The Cool Springs Hilton is an eight-story, 244-room hotel with an upscale restaurant and bar, a club lounge with an outside seating area, meeting space, and a second-floor pool. The total floor area is approximately 163,500 square feet, plus a two-story, freestanding parking deck of approximately 70,000 square feet. The construction of both structures is post-tensioned concrete framing with shear walls.

Third and Broadway

Renovation of an existing building into a hotel and restaurant. The renovation includes the addition of two floors onto the existing four-story concrete structure and designing the new floor additions: 5th floor (12,288 sf) and 6th floor (11,337 sf). The total square footage of the project is approximately 81,000 square feet.

BNA Nashville Airport Hilton Hotel and Garages

2023 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award for Garage B. Garage B: A new, five-story, cast-in-place construction with vehicular access across other garages. Approximately 1,800 parking spaces. The top level serves as an amenity deck for the Hilton Hotel. Hilton Hotel: A 14-story hotel consisting of 292 rooms, including six luxury suites. Meeting and event spaces totaling 16,500 square feet, including an 8,000-square-foot grand ballroom/event space. A large, state-of-the art fitness center on the 12th floor. A prominent glass SkyBar lounge and open-air SkyPool on the 14th floor (rooftop), providing spectacular views over BNA to Nashville’s dynamic skyline. A covered pedestrian bridge connecting the hotel, plaza, and garage to the terminal building. Garage C: A new, six-story, concrete-framed parking garage with approximately 3,000 spaces supporting a steel-framed office building of approximately 64,000 square feet.

Virgin Hotels

2023 AIA Atlanta Honor Award. 2022 AIA Middle TN Citation Award. Received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold from the U.S. Green Building Council. Winner of 2020 TN Concrete Association (TCA) Best Architect / Engineer – Commercial Buildings Award. Music Row’s Virgin Hotel is a new, multi-use structure of approximately 170,000 square feet. The tower is constructed over a 3-1/2 level underground parking structure of approximately 105,000 square feet. The 14-story, 260-key luxury hotel will have The Commons Club, a rooftop lounge with an infinity pool, a gym, and 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Soho House

Multibuilding rehab (keeping the vintage brick veneer) and conversion of structures to a 41-key, membership boutique hotel. The approximate 100,000-square-foot project includes a club/spa, restaurant/bar, gym, and work space. The approximate 35,000-square-foot exterior also received improvements and two new, freestanding, one-story structures with rooftop terraces, approximately 7,980 square feet.

Residence Inn and Courtyard Marriott

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. A new, ten-story, 190,000-square-foot hotel located in downtown, Kansas City. The project also included a 69,000-square-foot parking garage.

Hampton Inn and Suites - Capitol View

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. A new, ten-story building of approximately 115,500 square feet. The structure is concrete-framed using two-way, post-tensioned slab, concrete columns, and concrete shear walls.

Springhill Suites - Cool Springs

Home2 Suites - Colorado Springs

Travelers’ Choice award 2022. A new, four-story, 120-room hotel of approximately 74,000 square feet with an indoor pool. The structure is conventional reinforced concrete slabs with load-bearing masonry walls.

Black Fox Lodge - Pigeon Forge

This structure is a six-story hotel of approximately 119,000 square feet. The construction of the hotel tower is a two-way post-tensioned concrete slab with concrete columns. The one story “Lodge” portion of the structure is constructed of wood and steel framing.

Gaylord Rockies Resort Dining Terraces

Two, new dining terraces: Mountain Pass (casual dining/sports bar) and Old Hickory (steakhouse). Mountain Pass consists of approximately 2,800 square feet; Old Hickory consists of approximately 1,800 square feet. The dining terraces are a combination of wood and steel framing. The additions include stone fireplaces, in-ground and above-ground heating, removable glass wind screens, and new exterior stone fireplaces with sitting walls.

Hotel Genevieve

A new, six-story boutique hotel of approximately 72,000 square feet with 122 guest rooms. The structure is framed with precast concrete floor planks supported by CMU walls. Steel beams and columns at open spaces at the ground floor. The sixth floor has an indoor/outdoor bar area on pedestal pavers.

Gaylord Rockies Resort Grand Pavilion

The project consists of a one-story grand pavilion addition to the existing Gaylord Rockies Resort. The pavilion consists of 11,000-square-feet of flex space with a 4,000-square-foot kitchen, two 4,500-square-foot covered/trellis porches, a 2,500-square-foot conditioned connector, a 2,000-square-foot open-air connector, and 45,000 square feet of terrace/lawn space. The 11,000-square-foot flex space consists of long-span, barrel-vaulted, trusses approximately 80 feet long. The remainder of the structure will be conventionally framed steel, beams, and columns. The total approximate square footage of the structure is 18,000 square feet.

Gaylord Rockies Resort Atrium Renovation

This project consists of the renovation to the existing grand atrium with a 2024 completion date. The structural changes include building a new bar, mechanical mezzanines, stairs on grade, and heavy timber trellises.
