Hill Center Acklen FlatsThis project consists of a 116-car, 46,000-square-foot concrete two-way flat plate post-tension garage, 42 apartment units totaling 34,000 square feet supported on either wood or post-tension concrete, and a structured open-air courtyard that is located between the apartment units. The project is wrapped with 12,400 square feet of retail space on the street level.

Bento BoxMentioned in Urban Land Magazine 2019. New five-story 86,000-square-foot mixed-use building with a combination of hotel and micro-apartment units. Retail space is located on the first level. The building is structural steel framed with exposed architectural steel elements. Project includes a roof-top terrace and an automated parking structure.

AlloyULI Nashville 2020 Excellence in Development Large Private Sector Award winner. AIA Middle TN Merit Award winner and Award of Excellence. Modular Building Institute 2020 Award of Distinction. Alloy is Nashville’s first modular, pre-fabricated multifamily project. A new, contemporary 82-residence condo community south of downtown Nashville. There are two, 4-story buildings. Building I - a “saw tooth” layout with exterior walkways, elevator, and stairs. Building II - is a typical double-loaded hallway with interior elevator and exterior stairs. The two buildings are connected at all four levels with a common outdoor deck and stair. The building structures are pre-engineered modular wood structures.

Traditions of Mill Creek Senior LivingA new, four-story (approximately 170,000 square feet) senior living facility in Brentwood, Tennessee. The structure is primarily load-bearing CMU block walls and 8” precast floor planks with a 2”-reinforced concrete topping slab. The two entry canopies are framed with conventional structural steel.

Abe's Garden2020 World Alzheimer Report by Alzheimer's Disease International. Original project (Manuel Zeitlin): Addition to an existing retirement home. Construction consists of one level of two-way, flat plate and load-bearing metal stud shear walls on a podium slab. 2018 Addition (ESa): New, three-story building additions of approximately 60,000 square feet to the existing Park Manor/Abe's Garden structure. The structure is two-way, post-tension slabs with concrete shear walls. The addition is structurally separated from the existing structure by expansion joints.
